Sound card power draw?

Hi I am using a soundblaster cheapy! the pci128 and I am starting to realize the when my computer is on it takes power/db/VOLUME away from the rest of my system! My cpu, turntables,dual cd,dat and a couple of other things are hooked up to a main mixer (dj style gemini) and when the cpu is on I get a power drain, when I turn it off or turn the volume down on the mixer channel that my cpu is hooked up to, the power returns! anyone know why and what I could do to overcome this! peace, btw Hello to everyone, I have been gone for a while!

If you're sure this a line voltage issue, get a UPS. I had power in my studio that was so bad it actually shut off my amp (which has a soft power switch), my TV and reset the time in my VCR! It never affected my PC other than a blip on the monitor as the display shrunk slightly and then recovered.
