Heya,
I recently purchased a Delta 66 soundcard, which i'm liking a lot. The outputs are 1/4", and I was wondering what people use to get to their sound system (I'm just monitoring on my home stereo which is about 12 feet from the soundcard - RCA inputs into the AUX channel).
Previously I was running a lengthy 1/8" pin adapter from a Turtle Beach soundcard into the stereo, and I was wondering if I should just get some more adapters from Radio Shack so I can keep using this extra long cable, or if if using more adapters is going to be detrimental to the sound.
I'm currently using long guitar cables out of the Delta 66 and into RCA adapters but I'm guessing this might not be the best way.
Thanks,
steve

I don't see too much difference between guitar cables into RCA adapters at one end and a 1/8"-to-RCA adapter with another set of adapters at the 1/8" end to plug that into the Delta...

Probably the best thing to do is get two 1/4-to-RCA cables, but the adapters you have are probably fine.

Better yet, for best results you should not be using a home stereo, you should have a power amp and decent nearfield monitors (or a pair of powered nearfields).
