sound card HELP!?!?

hi guys

SORRY if this has been dealt with B4...i have read thru stuff but cant find it.

i have an audigy 2 zs card + sound blaster used for recording via cubase vst 24 .. both on XP and working fine (well .. ok ish!)old ish stuff i know but am happy with both.

my mate has built me a new computer with windows 7 and downloaded the driver for the card from the audugy site.

the card itself works .. BUT my blaster box does not .. i've tried everything! .. any suggestions??

did you try to disable the new card in device manager temporarily and reboot?

There are a variety of things I could recommend based on your answer. Also what software are you using to test it?

hi there

got box working after pluggin a power cable to it!

the guy who set up new computer forgot and i just presumed he had..

now the system crashes a few times a week and it looks like a hardware prob and it has to be the card itself!

my mates given me audigy 4 to try so lets hope it works better ... do i need to find a different driver? (currently daniel k's..)
