Hello.
I was wondering if any one has any first hand knowlege of the
Sony DPSV55 multi unit. I may be able to get one used w/ box and manuals for like $240.
I remember seeing something in MIX mag about the V77 and how these guys went to cathedrals and caves and stuff and mapped real reverbs that you could get on disk for a million dollars or something.
But 4 channels of processing for $250 seems like a bargain, especially with the manuals.
I'm primarily looking for a budget reverb but the mor bang for buck, the better.
Any info will be appreciated.

I have used the unit. It was not bad, and at the price you will pay, its fine. A little limited, but not bad.

Thanks Alan.

Unfortunately, someone scooped it up before I could but that allowed me to trade in my 488 deck for a VS880 with effects card.
So iI guess I'll be working with those effects for now.
But......I know that the converters on the 880 are only 16 bit.
Could I use an effects unit like the Lexi MP's to better my front end.???
Does it make sense do doo this???
.....since I already have the built in effects.

Also, I know this is the wrong forum, but if ANYONE glances at this and knows where I can get a PATCH LIST for the VS8F-1 effects card I would GREATLY appreciate it.

I can't find it ANYWHERE.

Thank again Alan.
