Songs sound good man...just wondering what amp and effects you used on "These Jewels"

I was wondering what gear you used to record with because everything sounds pretty good to me...what mic and preamp did you use and what recording software did you use.

Nice Job!

Sorry for all the questions...Im trying to improve my sound.

That's ok!

I used a stanerd pc (a gig of ram, 2 gig processor), a rode condenser mic, ezdrummer plugin (played by me on a set of roland td3 v-drums), a yamaha jazz bass (played by me), synthogy "ivory" Piano plugin (also played by me on a yamaha clavinova), a Gibson epiphone guitar (played by me) but I put it through Guitar rig 2 plugin, a nylon guitar (me again) a spanish "Raimundo" classical guitar, my voice, Sampletank2 plugin and cubase sx. But what I think makes the difference is the Mackie onyx 400f, because of the pre-amps and the analog to digital conversion!

Good stuff. Nice mix of styles with some great melodies and lyrics too. Some of Wompeychew reminds me a little of Mika in it's POP feel. But it's clear you are a versatile musician from the range of styles you have.

Love your acapella work!

Really great stuff, very impressed. I would have thought these are ready to throw around in the hope of some work. Keep us posted.

Thanks for sharing that info...looks like you invested in some nice gear...Just one question about guitar rig...Did you use an amp at all when recoring or did you just used a preamp and guitar rig...also what type of interface did you use.

Thanks again for sharing the info on what your using because the tunes sound great.

All I did was to patch the guitar through the mackie onyx 400f interface (that has it's own preamps) and then thruogh Guitar rig.
