Hi Guys. I am a soloact that uses Midi backing tracks. I decided to take my recorder to my last couple gigs. I am a guitar player and I use a Roland JV-1010 for a sound module. Here are a few cover tunes that I did those nights. The Guitar is a Hiwghway 1 strat with Lace Holy Grails in it. Amp is a little Vox ad15vT with 8 inch speaker miced with a 57. Hope you enjoy.

Here are the links.

Thanks.

Jeff

sounds fine, thare's almost nothing to f up

how do you get midi to be out of time?

Where does it go out of time? There's the same amount for me to screw up as if I were in a band. I still play my guitar and sing, same as if I was in a band. My bandmates are simply computers. Maybe I should make up some names for them.

Listening to Cinnamon Girl. Love the original, and yours is way cool too. Good vocals on this. How'd you record them? (mic, preamp..etc?)

Little Help From Friends..Another good job. Cool.

Hi. Thanks for the kind words. This was recorded live. The vocals were an SM58 into a Digitech Vocalist workstation for backing vocals, then to a Yamaha EmX66 powered box type mixer. I recorded to my Sony Minidisc from the tape outs.

Thanks much.
