This may not make much sense but I was drinking some tea and wrote this shit:

TEA

Verse 1

You always loved lemon in your tea
And just the slightest bit of honey
You said it made it taste bittersweet
bittersweet like the cycle of life
That brought us together
And also took you away from me
Now the cycle is complete
And all that’s left behind is tea


Verse 2

My tea sits on the counter getting cold
While I’m lost in a mind that can’t let go
Of the memory of your hair between my fingers
Or your sweet perfume that lingers
I never knew I could need this way
I never knew you’d be taken away
You'll have to forgive me
For wasting good tea

I haven't given the chorus much thought any suggestions?
