Hey guys. Don't mean to double post, since I posted this in the Cave. But, in the Cave, it was more to pay tribute to the video that DWILLIS put together for me. I post here to get comments and advice on the tune. Though, if you want to check out the cool video Dave put together for me, I hope you enjoy it. Keep in mind, he only had still pictures of me to work with. I think it he did an outstanding job regardless.

I re-recorded and re-arranged this recently and Dave was cool enough to re-sync it up with the video.

To see the lesser-quality Youtube video, go here; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4yUgTRhZ-U

To get a good quality Quicktime or WMV copy, go here: www.ramirami.com/videoandpix.cfm

Videos take a while to make and require material. I know someone on another music site that had to pay a company for video clips to get the effect and message he wanted. This video is lacking variety and good imagery.

The song is 80s pop to my ears. You've done and will likely continue to do better work in the future :).

The mix is fine. The mix in the video was super compressed and didn't have any high end. In a MUSIC video the presentation quality of the music probably matters.

Thanx dude. This is a video someone put together for free and just for the fun of it. I think it has quite a bit of variety considering what he had to work with.....and the budget. :)

Having said that, I'm not so delusional as to think this is an MTV-ready video. Just a cool souvenir from someone who took the time to do me a favor.

As for the song, thanx for the comments. Definitely not my best song, but it is what it is.

Thanx, buddy.

I thought this was really cool! Imagery fit really well with the song...kinda psychedelic/power-pop type vibe...kinda reminds me of enuff-z'nuff, I think the video enhanced the song nicely....I dug it!

Great Job... You're on YouTube - that's cool!

Cool video RAMI. DWILLIS45 did a nice job. I think it gave me flashbacks  :D  :p :) !

I'd really like to see you do a live video sometime...

You have tons of cool songs to choose from and Montreal has some excellent architecture...just a thought to keep in mind ;)

Again great job on music and video production!

Hi

Nice song and video. That's cool that DWILLIS did this video for you; It really fits the song and gives a feel for it. You are both talented.

/Jack Real.

I'm on phones today, so no real words of wisdom from me.... :D

The mix sounds good to me, on the phones. Bass has a great punch to it, and I like the crunch on your guitars. Nice tone. Drums come through just fine for me, and your voice sounds great. Don't know if it's any better mix than last tim I heard, but it's a fun tune.

Video is pretty cool...That sucker D has some fun. :D

My point is/was that you get what you pay for. I'm glad you enjoy it.

I'd rather be honest then blow air up your skirt :D. I look forward to your next recording. You are one of the names I look for in this section. ;)

The video is cool, but its hard to enjoy with the poor audio quality that goes along with it.

The song itself is done very well. Great everything as usual. Your songs always have great vocals and harmonies. Drums, guitars and bass are always top-notch and this is no different. Very good overall. :)

Pinky....I wasn't disagreeing with you, about the video OR the song. I guess I was just defending the video a little more because of the circumstances (free, personal favor, what little he had to work with, etc...). I really do appreciate your comments and wouldn't want anyone to just blow smoke. Especially here, I think my songs have improved alot from the advice and comments that have made me look more honestly at everything I do. Thanx man.

Hey guys, Pinky and Greg, I'm just wondering if you saw the video on Youtube or one of the better quality versions. If it sounds bad on Youtube, that's understandable. But if you find the higher-quality files also sound bad, I'd like to know. Thanx guys.

I saw the youtube and the wmv vid from your site. Both had bad audio compared to the MP3 link you posted up top.

Thanx man, that's good to know. I might have to take it down or try to sync it with a better sudio version. Thax alot.

Rami, I watched both also, and the audio is pretty compressed on both. Don't know if you can do anything thogh, without making the file so big it's not really feasible to access...

I watched the WMV version and enjoyed it.

Nice collection of pics. I like the menacing attack dove (yeah I know, I know, but it still looks like it's going for the eyes. :D Too many horror movies as a kid.) And the hip 50s eara chevys. Always liked those.

Thanx for the heads up on the audio, guys. I'll try to find out what kind of software I need to sync it up.

Tim, I dig the vid, too. I think if he had some live footage of me or more to work with in general, it would be as good as any video out there, visually. Even as it is now, I've seen much worse and much more boring videos. This has a cool retro feel to it.

I actually like the video way more than the song.
