SONAR XL Commin' my way

Just upgraded, I'm hopin' the DXi's are good. If I understand it all, that sound's like the way to go. Anyone out there using them how do they sound? How do the sounds compare to say a Roland JV-1010?
P.S. I just wish I could have downloaded the program so I could be using it now.

it's costly but hey .. you get what you pay for and so far, Sonar does everything i want. I use it in conjuction with T-Racks mastering software.

The DX Instruments are fantastic. There's one in particular that I use. It's the VSC DX Synth. (I think that's what it's called) It's a virtual synth and i use it in conjuction with the session drummer for my raw demo stuff.

If you have the cpu horsepower (800MHz+) check out the revalver DX instrument. It's a complete guitar rack and sounds pretty good.

Sonar's DX capability and real time fx processing makes the product shine.

There's alot of crazy synths for it too .. i'm not a big 'synth' guy but i have played with em. Really neat.
