Sonar XL and Reason 2.0

I've tried...God knows I've tried. I've read the manuals....God knows I've read the manuals.

How the firk do I get Sonar to interface with Reason? I want nothing complicated - I just want to be able to play a Reason module and record it into Sonar without recording it as a sequence in Reason.

Not much to ask, is it?

Help, anyone?

This is how I do it:

Launch Sonar
Launch Reason (this puts it into Rewire mode)
Select the gear and patch in reason.
Create an Audio Track from the output of Reason
Play and record.

Works for me.

Edit: sorry...you still need to have reason in rewire for this to work.

it is a tech tip at cakewalk about integrating reason into SOnar. I learned it this way, and it is dead straightforward.
