Hey can someone help me my monitoring problem. I see that is a common problem, but I still havent seemed to solve my problem. I have a Korg Trinity Rack, a Midiman Radium 61 key controller, a Delta 44, and a USB midi converter (http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Uno-main.html). Whenever I am recording a midi track, I can see the notes that were entered, but I am not hearing my TR-Rack or anything on the playback. Can someone help me please!!!! Thanks alot!!!

PS: I'll enclose print screen pics if that will help.

Did you assign the proper output and channel in the midi track pane?

Thanks for replying Acid. Here are some pics of how I have it hooked up (they are print screen pics)...

Also, in my USB to Midi connector cable, there is a midi in and out. I have the midi out going into the midi THRU of my Korg TR-Rack, and I have the midi in part of the cable not plugged into anything. My controller is going into the midi in of the Korg TR-Rack, thus leaving the Korg TR-Rack Midi Out empty. I hope u can tell me what the problem might be. Thanks alot for the help.

The midi out of the controller should go to the midi in of the Uno,the midi out should go to the midi in of the Korg rack.
For the channel setting check usb-1(or usb-2 etc.).

You can run the controller through the rack to record, but I'm just giving you an example of how it has been working for me.

Well, was that it,or was it something else?
If someone else does a search they might come to this thread for an answer, that's a huge asset of this BBS.

Well this is how I got it to work. It was basically the same thing you said, just a slightly different.

The midi out of the controller should go to the midi out of the Uno....and the midi in of the uno should go to the midi in of the Korg TR-Rack.

It works now. Thanks again Acid.
