I've been real happy with X1. I was in from release, and yeah it was pretty buggy at first. Since X1b came out it's been very stable for me, and X1c just came out. I downloaded it yesterday, but still need to install.
I like the workflow alot better in X1. They took some lessons from some of the other DAW's out there, and incorporated it with what was already great in 8.5 and earlier. Needless to say I couldn't be happier.
