Anyone using the Mia with Sonar that can tell me how you have it configured within Sonar? I am having some problems... namely, when I am recording, I get delayed audio through my monitors. Also I am having problems playing back some of the tutorials that have 4 or 5 audio tracks. I am also using an SBLive with midi, and am wondering how I could use my drum machine through the SBLive but the Mia for audio. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Never used a Mia

But I did you a Layla once and sent it back because the midi in/out didn't same to be working right.

That being said, it sounds like you have a latency issue.
I struggled with that when I upgraded to Sonar from Cakewalk 9.

Are you using Input Monitoring?
Options > Audio Options > Input Monitoring
Deselect everything. That way you aren't monitoring the processed data from Sonar. If you want to hear the live effects offered by Sonar, that is another issue and you will have to do other things.

If you are not using input monitoring you shouldn't have an echo or delay issue.

Go to Options > Audio Options > Drivers and make sure you ahve the correct inputs and outputs selects. Then open your Mia mixing console and make sure you have main output channels enabled. That output channel should match the one set in Options > Audio Output > General -> Play Back Master.

Hope this helps.
