Sonar using Reason drums

Why so serious?
I would like to use the Reason drums for Sonar drum tracks. In other words, use redrum as a drum machine from a sonar drum track on channel 10. I have found that the drum instruments are shifted to different keys in the Sonar piano roll. I guess the Reason drums do not follow the GM standard as far as what keys they are on. Is there a way to make Redrum conform to the GM standard? Do you have to set up and save a custom layout in Reason? Any help would be appreciated.
 
Well I am dumping audio out of Reason 1 into Sonar 1.3, so it sounds like you must be using ReWire to control Reason via Sonar 2 using MIDI?

Nothing I can find in Reason lets you reconfigure ReDrum to set midi mapping, so I'm guessing this might be a ReWire issue? When I trigger ReDrum sounds using a midi controller in Reason, it seems like it default maps the sounds to the 2nd kybd octave starting on C.
 
Yes I'm doing it thru rewire. The drums in Reason sound great. Much better than DR-008. I just hate to do any piano roll stuff in Reason. It would be nice to do it all in the Sonar piano roll. There is probably a way to do it, I just don't know enough yet about this MIDI mapping stuff. Thanks for the reply.
 
set the midi output to reason and set the channel to redrum thats it
