Sonar Staff View Problem

Anyone know why I can't start selecting notes and continue dragging rt. or left? The mouse stops at the edge of the window and doesn't keep feeding notes for me to select like I seem to remember.
Also is there anyway to move the Track Name down in the console view so I can see the names of my audio tracks while using the faders without scrolling up?

wild guesses here since i don't use staff view at all...

do you have SNAP enabled? it usually defaults to 1 measure, so that may be what's keeping you from selecting notes?

i think i understand what you're asking about moving track names on the console, i don't think there's any way to do it. one of these days maybe they'll make console view scaleable.

Thanks man, I'll check the Snap to setting and fool around with it. I know the scrolling left to right works on my laptop so I'll compare settings. I've been working around the console problem by going up on my resoultion then the whole console fits.
