I really need some assistance. I use Sonar Producer 3.11 and E-mu 1820 set at 48KHz 24 bit recording. I have XP Pro SP2 which is in very "clean" shape.
Using ASIO at 7ms latency. I am also using an Evolution E-33e controller using the USB port.
Problem: When I go to open up file in Sonar, that I created using 44.1 instead of 48KHz, the program crashes and shuts down. If I'm lucky enough to be able to open it back up, my ASIO drivers are no longer available.
I would think that the 1820 could change clocks "on the fly" as I use other ASIO dependant programs that change the clock from 48KHz to 44.1 with no problem.
I have tried to reload both the 1820 drivers and a complete re-install of Sonar, with no luck.
Has anyone else had these similar issues using these two products together? I also use Ableton Live 4, Acid 4, and Atomix Virtual DJ all using ASIO with absolutley no problems.
