Sonar MIDI Output...

Hello, I have C-Port dsp2000 and I just got my DAW up and running yesterday. The only thing is, I don't hear anything when I play MIDI files on Sonar, or when I play the metronome I cant hear it except through the PC speaker (which sucks). Anyway, I know it might be the settings on my soundcard, but is there a certain way I need to set Sonar's MIDI setting's?

I suspect the CPort card has a MIDI interface but no onboard MIDI synth.
