People,

Using LynxTWO with SONAR 2.2; & am experiencing a problem of late.

Anytime I process audio, my drivers stop working . . . as in, there is no output (& obviously no volume.)

I thought at first it may be the LynxTWO, but I closed out of SONAR & went to WaveLab; & all was working fine.

I can get everything back by restarting my machine, but this is rapidly becoming a pain in the butt.

Is anyone out there using these two products in combination; & if so . . . having similar difficulties?

Could use some help/suggestions.

Thanks,

i use the same set up...

u are using asio i assume right?

i had a problem playing back audio i.e excessive drop outs

my cure was to keep an audio track armed all the time then sonar works great...

how dow you like the lynx? how much better does it sound to your old sound card? i know it puts my old delta to shame..

Teacher,

Dude . . . thanks . . . forgot about the ASIO thing (Audio Options > Advanced > Driver Mode.)

For some reason, SONAR stabilized prior to my switching over to ASIO, but I switched anyway; & the stabilization has continued (& . . . I have my fingers crossed.)

I plead yes on having a higher opinion of the LynxTWO than my previous card (GINA 24.) A whole world of difference.

I also customized myself a studio monitoring system, consisting of an Onyko TX-8511 240W Dynamic Power (Discreet Output Channels) amp; & Pioneer S-H253B-K shielded speakers. Together with the LynxTWO, I've never heard such solid sound. I've set up two tonal configurations . . . one of a straight-gain amp, so I can hear what the recordings actually sound like; & one a little more spectralized, which is what I'm aiming for.

Thanks for the response. I'll be looking you up if I get into more difficulties (not that many SONAR/LynxTWO combies out there.)
