Sonar HS 7 XL upgrading to X2 Studio

Hey guys, I've been using the Cakewalk Home Studio 7 XL for years and recently I've bought an Electronic kit to use with superior drummer and I found there was a lot of lag. I downloaded the trial of X2 studio and it solved all my problems so I plan on upgrading. If you are experiencing lag in ur recordings it may not be your computer, it might be the program.

I gotta say, maybe its cos i'm so use to it but I much prefer the layout of the Sonar 7 to the X2 Studio, things seem harder to find but that may be just me! lol

It has been a lot of effort to learn the X2 screen layouts after learning SHS7. I feel your pain, but the thing is that X2 does so much more there needs to be a LOT more functionality exposed for user access. SHS7 was more clearly laid out, but it could not do nearly as much.

I sure miss the colors...
