Sonar Glitching/Inconsistent Electricity?

Just moved into a new house vintage 1941. The electrical panel in the house hasn't been changed out yet. Sonar 2.0 worked perfectly in the house I moved out of. I'm using Windows XP/Audiophile 2496, 933cpu and 256k ram. The circuits in the house are overloaded very easily. Would this be the source of the intermittent hiccups that are occurring now? Anyone experience this before and is there a simple fix before I get around to changing out the panel? Thanks for any insight any of you can give!

Sounds like you need a power conditioner.
I use one and it seems to work.I know that previously I would get hiccups when the furnace or refrigerator would kick in.
