Sonar - Delete clip without deleting automation data.

Hi folks

I've searched but can't find any information on this. I'm using Sonar. When I delete a midi/audio clip from a track, it deletes all the automation data with it. Same thing if I copy a clip and paste it to a new track, it's pastes all the automation data in as well. I don't always want this. Is there a way to disable this?

Try reposting this on the Cakewalk/Sonar forum further down the page and list what Sonar version you're using. May get some help there.. Most Sonar users have moved to the free Cakewalk by Bandlab software . Its an improved version of Sonar platinum.
