Guys, I have a slight problem but it is killing me. When I record an audio track using Sonar, it records all my midi tracks along with it, but I need to have them on separate tracks to mix-down properly. If I mute the midi tracks, I can't hear what I need to complete the process. It has to be simple, but I just don't know. HELP!!!

Your Windows recording mixer is recording "what you hear", you need to select the input where your audio is coming into as the recording source.

Bernard,

What kind of sound card do you have? How many IO's?
Are you using an external sound module or some built
in software synth?

It sounds like you have an external sound module and you
are mixing it with your other audio input before you send it into the computer.

Give a little more info.

Thanks guys. I'll try these suggestions and see what happens. By the way....I am using an external sound module and a Delta 66 sound card.
