Hello all, I'm having some trouble with sonar 8 producer edition on my laptop running Windows 8.1. I have a Scarlett 2i2 connected to my laptop via USB. I'm going out from my 2i2 into my monitor.
I haven't used sonar before so I've been going through the Getting Started tutorial that came with it. I was able to open the tutorial .cwp file as instructed and I could hear the music just fine.
However when I plug my guitar into the 2i2 and try to record it in a new project file, I can't hear the guitar at all. I inserted a new track and armed it to record, and i can see the track meter going up when I play (the 2i2 lights up when i play too) but I hear no guitar.
When I turn the input echo on I can hear the echo of my playing bright and clear but still can't hear myseIf playing.
What am I doing wrong?
