Sonar 8.5

Hi

I've been playing guitar for a long time, but am just getting into recording using Sonar 8.5 Producer. I'd be keen to hear from either experts who can provide advice on this DAW, or beginners who I can share knowledge with...preferably around London, UK.

SONAR is a great program...I've been using it for years. I recently upgraded to X1 and have no regrets. You might want to check out the SONAR forums Cakewalk Forums
 
I use Sonar 6 PE (my buddy has X1 PE and it's a lot the same). If you have a specific issue post it and we'll see if we can help.
 
I also use the 8.5 Producer and it is very deep in it's capabilities. I have heard that 80% of the users use 20% of the product. Now that i have used it, I feel that that statement is true. It does have a learning curve that is lengthy. Stay with it and you will find that it is a very useful tool. Yes, sign up for the Cakewalk Forum. Very informative.
