I've had a few persons want to know if Sonar 4 would work with the Peavey StudioMix.
The answer is YES!!!! I hooked mine up today and she's working fine. Very easy to do.
In Sonar 4 select OPTIONS --> Control Surfaces. Then click the NEW button. Scroll through the list until you find Peavey StudioMix, select it, save and you are done.
From your MIDI interface connect the MIDI OUT to the Peavey MIDI in, connect the Peavey MIDI OUT to your midi interface IN. Turn on the power and you are done.
I run my external Synth MIDI in to the Peavy StudioMix MIDI thru and all is fine.
