Has anyone any info as to if I buy and install sonar 3 will I have to redo all my templetes? My config with motu 2408mkIII. Or will it overlay the new version on my existing sonar 1.3 and save all my settings/templetes etc. Thanks,Jim

Sonar 3 will install in a new directory, meaning you can copy all your templates over to the new directory. They might need some tweeking but you won't need to start from scratch.

If so, do you like it? Im thinking of getting it but Im so used to my old 1.3 version. I do say, the sonar 3 has some nice improvements. One of which I've read is no drop out of audio when inserting plugins on the fly.

Sonar 3 is really good. Gapless audio is bogus.

It should be called Almost-Gapless-If-You-Have-Enough-RAM-and-you're-CPU-isn't-Running-Too-High-Audio.

But it's still much better than trying to milk an ostrich.
