Hi!

Could anybody help me with this:
I'm using Sonar 3.1 and trying to get the Linplug RMIV to work properly. Problem is, I can't get any mono outputs in the Sonar mixer. Do I miss something, or isn't it even possible. Is upgrading an option? Any help would be nice.

It's no buzz setting a track to mono (in the Track View and Console View, there's a button that overrides the autodetected setting), but I've never thought of using a mono bus.

I know that button, but it just doesn't do anything. I want to mix the output of the RMIV as I would with a normal drumkit. Mono kick/snare hihat/3 toms and stereo overheads. So I set the outputs of the RMIV 1 stereo output and 6 mono. Sonar then creates a stereo Primary output and 3 stereo outputs that don't do the same. The Primary output can be treated as expected (you can pan the RMIV sounds as you want, and it works perfectly.) But the other stereo outputs act strange. On the RMIV (mono) outputs 2 & 3 can be seen in Sonar as one stereo track, but output 2 is panned hard left and 3 hard right, and there's nothing you can do about it. I know I can work my way around this by creating only stereo outputs, but I'm just wondering if it's a flaw in my favourite recording software. (Hypersonic has the same problem, maybe it's VST incompatibility?)
