SONAR 2: wavforms out of sync

Using Sonar 2 on a P4 Win XP.
here's what happens...after importing a track (or recording one) the wavform that is drawn on the timeline does not match the audio playing. Is there a setting I'm missing? the recorded tracks sync up fine, they just dont match the visual wavforms, making it impossible to use markers or wavforms for visual cues.

Only thing I could think of is to delete the files in your pricture cache... usually located under c:\cakewalk projects\picture cache\

If you have changed them (from memory, under the Options -> Global menu in Sonar) you will need to delete them from here.

What the above does is that next time you load sonar, it re-draws the wave forms. It will take a little longer to open them, however it may fix your problem!
