Sonar 2 Demo Problem

I'm new with this computer recording stuff, so I've been trying out some different demos before I buy. When I try to use my Sonar 2 demo, it says I haven't selected a MIDI out device. I go and select the only option I have, and it still says the same thing.

I only have the basic sound card that comes with a new Dell 4500. (Don't worry, I'm also shopping for a new Soundcard.)

Any help on this problem is appreciated.

It seems like your midi-ports (if you have any) isn't compatible with Sonar. Just tell Sonar not to check for midi-ports on startup (Options -> Midi-devices)...
