hi, guys. When I installed sonar xl 2.0, I had the option to choose which dxi's, audio fx, midi fx, etc that I wanted to include. I chose not to install all the dxi's. However, I would now like to have cyclone installed. Is there a way to go back and add this, or do I have to do a fresh install again? I could peruse the help files, but if anyone knows, I'd appreciate it. thanks

Ed just run the installer as you normally would and when the options window comes up uncheck effects, sample files, etc everything but the dxi box. Then click the options box and you will be led to a list of dxi's and check cyclone while leaving the rest unchecked. Then just proceed as you normally would with the installation.
Basically you're just unchecking every option including the program files and only installing what you choose to install.

Not interested in the other synths?

No need for a fresh install just install on top of what you already got going.

thanks, man. That makes sense. Yeah, I'm interested in the other dxi's, but I don't run a real powerful puter, and it wants nothing to do with most of them. But, I think Sonar is the perfect daw for me, so I went ahead and got it, knowing that my puter wasn't strong enough, but also knowing that I will upgrade someday. So, in the meantime, I do what I can, and I'm really learning the program. When I get my new machine, I'll hit the ground runnin' without missing a beat. Thanks again for your help.
