sonar 1.0

yeah yeah, I know it is OLD, but it is what I have to deal with right now as I am updating everything.

alright-well the problem that i KEEP experiencing is my computer coming up with a prgm shutdown error and eventually shutting down the sonar program and then my whole computer and restarting with full check that it was not properly shut down.

this happens when i use the effects, most notably when i double click (left click) in the FX portion of the audio track (and yesterday when I used the right clicked too fast).

I am not sure if this is something seen before, I have looked around and have not seen a glitch like this from anyone else, so,
if there are any suggestions it would help this frustration.

running (mini tower) HP (5-yrs old)

plus a bunch of other eq (POD, ART, audbud, AT3035, MK012, SM58, guits, bass, floops etc etc)

i think the problem is within the program / computer though,
and i just defrag'd yesterday and am at about 55% space, with low CPU usage each time.

any help is appreciated. thanks.

my studio computer is not hooked up to the internet, so i am going to assume i can dl onto a floppy disk and upload the patches onto my studio computer. I am gonna assume that will work as a saved as file that i can utilize on my other computer.

much appreciated, i must have overlooked the new patches for sonar on the cwk website.

Well, I think you need more space than 1.44 MB. A CD-R might be in order.

I planned on bringing both (floppy and cdR) -
just hoping I will be able to get onto a newer computer here as opposed to the one I am on right now, because that functionality is not an option on this tower.
