Love that outro. It just builds and swells and stuff until it's just kind of one big sound.

Loving your continued excess of reverb too. It sounds very lush.

Ok, here's a thought though. Did you EQ the reverb on any of this stuff? It felt like maybe you could roll off both some highs and lows on just the verb and warm it up a bit. It felt like there was a cumulative build up of some frequencies that was a little too much. I dunno, I could be way off, but that is something I've been doing lately trying to tame boominess and/or harshness.

:thumbs up:

Thanks heat! You're always the first to give me feedback. :thumbs up:

I love the Garageband reverb! It does have it's own tone knob that I could play around with. I'll try it out.

I like the outro too!

My guess is... 7?

Close! It was 8. :D

Pretty song.

There are a couple of spots where performances could have been a little tighter.

A little weird that everything except the guitar had a lot of lush reverb. But the guitar was pretty dry.

I'm hearing some clunks every now and then e.g. :57. Like a guitar pick hitting a guitar body or something.

And yeah that lush outro was nice.

I'm picking up on what heat mentioned. There seems to me to be a lot of high mid stacking up going on with all the synths and reverb and stuff.

Thanks for listening! Yeah, I'll probably have to go back with the editing and mixing to tighten some things. Hmm, I didn't think the reverb on the guitar was too contrasting. Now, you got me thinking! :D

Thanks for listening, Greg! Yeah, I've been doing some heavy reverb lately and this is probably the most tracks I've had with it so it's probably stacking like you said.

yeah i noticed several clicks i guess from the ac guitar and it sounds really really compressed too. nice tune, in places sounds like the beach boys

Yeah, unfortunately I can't undo that compression. I've been trying to get good at compressing during tracking in case I'll ever need to do it. :D

Thanks for listening!

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, this is a really nice tune Fritz.

(I learned how to do big size font especially for leaving this comment) :)

Thanks, fritz!

By the way, I really like your stuff as well! I personally got a CD from heat, but seeing as you live across the pond, are you selling any of your music as mp3s?

Yeh boyee! Thanks a heap, that's really cool. Wish I could get a Heat CD. You can have whatever MP3 you want of mine for nothing. Just let me know which of my nursery rhymes you fancy, and I'll try to get it into a presentable state for you. :)

Quirky as all get out.
An unreconstructed and unapologetic reverb junkie you are but you do it pretty well.
The pick clicks are a bit annoying - can you edit them out?
I enjoyed the listen and it made me think about whimsy & melancholy in the one song.
