...unusual for me anyway. I've been recording a new song for the past two weeks and when I finally recorded the vocal about 30 minutes ago and played the whole mix back I didn't have to hardly touch a knob or move a fader.
Just a little. I pushed the bass up 3+ at about 400 and brought the e guitar down a tad and brought the vocal into the mix. I added a touch of reverb to the vocal and cut some mids and the whole mix sounded like I had worked my usual three or so days on it.
God, I love it when that happens. And it ain't nearly often enough.
Now if I can fumble my fingers through a guitar solo and screech out some harmony I think I'll have this one in the bag.
The Roland R-5 has made a tremendous difference in the feel of the music It's almost like having a drummer here. Except he doesn't spill beer. I'd like to go back and do all of my tunes with this box. Unfuckingbelievable.
It'll be in the MP3 forum maybe by Sunday if I don't put a round through the computer trying to get it into PTF and upload it.
