I say very first VS-880, because it was their first version of the unit...not the very first one off of the drawing board. And, yes that is me playing the guitar I am embarrassed to say!!!:o

I love the sonic picture you have painted.

Reminiscent of a very nostalgic era.

Jiust saying it sounds excellent and you play great.

Hey Elvis,

Now that I know you really played, that was great! The playing on the song was excellent...a friend of mine has a Proteus with an electric guitar patch that sounds very similar to the sound that you got so I wasn't sure if you were playing the guitar or the keys.

Anyway, I have to give you your props! That was excellent!

I listened to 'doin 60'! nice guitar playing.. I listened to 'the Deep' also and that was cool, I hear ya man,I love effects too! :D I listened to it in its entirety... smoking permitted..

cool tunes I'll check out the others soon..

Pretty cool oh mighty King. That wouldn't be a Rockman on the guitar would it? It's a familiar sound.

No, its not a Rockman...Its a unit that Ibanez used to sell called a vitual amp...I think that is what I used on that one. I would KILL to get a tone like Samij gets though

Apparently you have to tune your guitar in the netherworld to do that. :D :p

I have a virtual amp....what setting did you use for that?

REALLY?? The Ibanez unit??? The black square one with the little foot pedals on it??

Yep....I think it was one of the first modelers. I got it to record late at night with. I haven't used it in a while.....maybe I should break it back out.

Yeah thats the one. I really dont remember the settings because I recorded it back in the early 90's. I really liked that unit and yeah it was one of the first modelers. I had a Boss GT-3 which I sold on ebay, that Ibanez blew it away sound wise because the Boss was just way over the top with the effects. I just recently purchased a POD 2.0 which I really like the sounds but I have not used it yet to record with so we will see how it goes...
