Hey everybody. I'm relatively new to the site but I've been posting and getting quite a bit of help and support here for the past few months, which is much appreciated. Never really posted in this section before so hello to everyone here and I look forward to your reviews/comments/suggestions and hopefully I can give some of you a hand as well.

Anyhow, I've recently updated my mp3 site with some new material that I'd really like to get some feedback on if any of you have a minute to listen. On the site you'll find 2 beats (Symphonique 2002 and Something Different) and a new song from my group The Foundation called "This Is Life". None of the tracks on the site contain any looping, scratching or samples of any sort. All were produced using mainly Roland boards and modules and mixed using (2) Roland VM3100s and Logic Audio.

Thanks in advance,

Sam

Tight tracks. Why so much reverb? Other than that i digging em.

Lazi, thanks for the reply. You know I never really thought about it but I probably do have a little too much reverb happening. Thanks for pointing that out and thanks for the listen and critique.

Im currently listening to symphonique 2002.

This is the best beat I've heard in forever.

DUde, you did good.

Funk on!

I just peeped the other two tracks, and I gotta say, you got some MAD talent and skill.

Dude, There is a place for you in the industry.

funk on!

Cyan, I've been lurking on this site for a while and I've seen a lot of your posts here and it's apparent that you know your way around the hip-hop world. That being said this is a HUGE compliment and one I have nothing but respect for. I really appreciate you taking the time to listen and comment, it is very helpful and hopefully you're right about my place in the industry (some good things are happening as we speak).

Again your compliments are appreciated and held in the highest regard.

DAMN! you got some tight shit, Definitely one of the best I've heard on this forum. Definitely got musical talent there. Keep doin whatever it is you doin........ except that excess reverb on the last two beats.;)

MM&H, thanks for the comments. I hear you on the reverb issue. These are just sample tracks that aren't mixed for actual use yet so when I get to mixing them I'll keep that in mind.

Again thanks for the reponse I appreciate it.

Sam

MM&H, let me not lead you astray. The tracks are rough mixes using just the internal mixers in my workstation and sound modules. Normally, when I finish a track to be used in a recording I track each instrument individually into Logic and add any outboard FX, compression and equalization that is necessary during the mixing process. This of course is a more defined and clearer sound. Just wanted to clarify that.

Hi-D-Ho, thanks for the listen and response.
