I walk the line
I need another guitar like I need a hole in the head (come to think of it, I do need a hole in the head...).

But there's one at a local GC that has worked it's mojo on me, and I feel powerless...

Restrain me! And no matter what I may say, do not give me that key!

There's an empty void in your life and this guitar was made specifically to fill it,I think you should hold up your end of the deal.

If you made someone a great offer on one you have you might make some room.:D

You know which one I'm talkin' about

You, sir, are evil. :D

I know, I should let it go to a good home where it will get finished and put back together, and proudly displayed as it should be. But you've gotta ask yourself, are you really up for a project like that?

You know, if I got it back together, it might just have the mojo I seek. It did at one time.

But in the meantime, there's an LP Studio (and I don't even like Studios) in faded brown with a 50's neck that's taunting me.

Aaaargh!

Haha :D There's a hole in my soul, exactly the shape of a gibson sg.. Just like a jigsaw puzzle all put together except one missing piece in the middle! I dont need another guitar either, but craigslist is sooooooo tempting, and ppl in this bad economy are selling sooooo cheap..

I hate it when things are so cheap you can't afford not to buy them.

I want a guitar so bad right now it hurts... A nice sweet sounding parlor for writing, and sitting on a stand beside my desk, and a great big hollowbody guitar for live shows with the wife... Sadly there is no cash for such a thing right now...

Ooooo, I want a parlor, too. But I really can't justify that one, even to myself. That's surprising, too, because I'm a pushover for me. :D

The funny thing is, the only guitar I really was kind of looking for is a semi-decent strat, one that has a great neck that I could put the pickups I want in, preferably an HSS. A MIM would be fine.

They had just unboxed their shipment, and this LP looked pretty so I picked it up. Big mistake.

I hope it's gone by now, but I'll stop in to make sure. ;) I'm going to take my Epi LP (which is pretty darn nice for an Epi) to a/b them. I hope the mojo's gone, but I don't think so. Trouble is, I'd probably have to trade in my Epi or ebay it to get the other one. I wouldn't really miss playing the Epi, but it is a beautiful looking guitar, and close to what I thought I always wanted.

Desire is a fickle thing.

Hey, guitar junkie!

Long time, no hear.

Any dates at Lazy Days coming up?

Hi. I'm Richie, and I'm an axololic. I haven't bought a guitar in 2 years. Beware of substitution, such as ukes, mandos, balalaikas, banjos, dulcimers, etc. Only a higher power can help you say no to frets. Just because it has an ebony fretboard and jumbo frets, a hand carved flamed maple top, 24 to one Gotoh tuners, and a Bigsby is no reason to give in. You know you'd rather spend that money on a new differential for the minivan. For the record, I only have to attend 3 more of these meetings before the court order expires! Then I'll meet you at Manny's...Richie

Whoa, ebony fretboard AND a Bigsby!!

Where's my sponsor's number...

There's no such thing as too many guitars (says the guy who has 30-something of them).

There's a Bill Nash strat at a local shop that's eating away at my flesh. Typically, I'm not a strat guy. I hate the idea of "relic'd" instruments (that's all he does). The guitar is no feast for my eyes. But when I plug it in and close my eyes.....OMG!!!

I could get a set of the Fralins that this guitar has and stick 'em in a cheaper guitar, sure. But I've haven't had strat with a neck like that in my hands in decades. Big and beefy with a slight "V" profile. You can't buy a Fender with a neck like that. My hands feel like they're home after a long time away. That guitar is killing me.:(

If you see an old homeless guy, with a beautiful faded brown LP Studio in a shopping cart, pulling a train of 6 more shopping carts full of guitars and a '65 blackface Vibro Champ, you'll know who it is.

You'll undoubtedly soon find me on a corner with a cardboard sign that says 'Will work for guitars'.

There are a couple of Reverend models and one or two Eastman models that have been calling my name for a while now...... I'm gonna break soon. :o
