theres this dvd called burn to shine where they have some DC bands like q and not u, medications, the evens (ex minor threat,fugazi!), etc. come to a house and play a song. they record them really nicely in both video and audio. then after wards the house gets burnt down as part of the fire departments training exercise. its pretty awesome and they just finished recording one for chicago. anyway the audio sounds amazing and no matter how hard people are yelling or how softly they're singing into this mic it sounds wonderful. so what is it?!
 
Are you sure? The grill on the Neumann looks a lot more open than the grill on that mic.
 
i'm pretty sure hes right with it being a nuemann. now i'm sad.
 
exactly. i figured it would be some cheap random dynamic mic that just somehow sounds perfect. but no, its gotta be a neumann. all i could focus on through the entire video was how amazing that mic sounded though...
 
Don't be sad, work your ass off an buy it, that's what I did.

I've seen that KMS on many DVD's, Diana Krall uses it for example.
 
It's a Radio Shack dynamic.... $29............
