"Love Me 'till Labor Day" got rated, and a good one at that. Thank-you whoever you are. I don't know how that bodes for the other song I posted - which I wrote for and about my wife) I realize I have some work left on the mix (EQ, clipping on vocals, and the stereo aspect/or lack there of...Sumpthin' happened from MIDI-audio, to audio, to Digital Audio Format, to MP3 which turned the mix to Mono. Some info on what I used: Cakewalk PA9, Mackie 1202-VLZ, Alesis QuadraVerb, MicroVerb III, M-EQ 230, 3630 Compressor(Yikes), Korg NS5R, AT4050/CM5, a pawnshop BC Rich Warlock, and JBL G-734s for mixing (which may lend to the excessive bottom end on the mix because of the horns - I do have a pair of Control 1s, but I hooked them up to my surround sound and my wife won't let me have them back). I listened to the songs. Although the mix leaves something to be desired, the songs themselves are really good. I agree with your idea about getting "Love me till laborday" to J. buffett somehow. He could use some new material. Cheers

I tried downloading "Thinking of You" from Lycos, and listened to all 1.5 seconds of it... apparently you don't think of them too much!



Nah, I was able to download "Love me 'till Labor Day," and I enjoy listening to it. However, "Thinking of You" just doesn't download, and I've tried three times...

Have you considered putting it on MP3.com? There are some interesting features (including being able to DOWNLOAD from it, hehe) that make it worth considering as an alternative...

Heck, I'll even try a little later. As far as "Love Me 'Till Labor Day," well, that's a good song, dude. Definitely Parrot Head stuff there!

Thanx Kelly. I loaded the songs onto my webpage again, and this time I think both songs are working like they're supposed to. I figured out the problem I was having with the upload process, so you can find them at http://www.nevillemusic.com . As for trying to download them from my site on Lycos... ..FORGET IT.
