Better be new in the box for that kind of money. I don't even expect to get that much for my 52.
 
Hmmm, depending on when you are planning on selling it, I might have to make a road trip.;)
 
It makes me wonder what kind of "reasonable offer" he'd be willing to take.
 
Hm...Tim...that IS expensive on our side of the puddle...that is over $2000USD.

I really feel for you all over in Europe...price and availability are both skewed the wrong way for the buyer compared to in the US for sure.
 
Um...that is an M-2600 right?? Just want to make sure that its not only his price that's silly...
 
Looks like it if you enlarge the pic Cory, the logo on the desk seems to say M2600 MkII.

Interesting strategy...maybe I could ask lots of $$$ for the M-300 channel cards that I can't seem to sell if I said they were out of a Tascam MD-3000z...

OOOOPS!!!! I have to take this one back. I can't make fun of this one because I bought it off of Junkbay. I asked him to send proof of the new heads and of the work that was done and it will be shipped out tomorrow. I know I'm taking a HUGE risk on shipping but I wanted one and was growing impatient. Hope it doesn't come back to kick me in the pants.
 
So I guess I could ask about $10k for my handful of Tascam items?:confused:

Okay then...

  • Tascam PE-40 minty with operations and service manual
  • Tascam MX-80, good condition with manual, all mic pres work but channel 8 doesn't send to the stereo buss
  • Tascam 234 project: two transports, plenty of parts to make a minty 234 plus new belts, new pinch roller and a complete manual and documentation set (owner's manual, service manual, schematic set, orginal glossy brochure)
