some thoughts/questions about mastering

I think that your mixes are comparable to the other stuff that's out there. It's not my fave genre but the band has at least one very original and creative person aboard.
It's possible to get so deeply into the geek side of music production that it becomes just a stream of 1's and 0's to a guy and the esthetic kinda goes away. I'm not saying that you are there, just a cautionary note to make sure that you know which side of your brain is most active when "tape is rolling" or should I say "data is streaming"

hell, while ive got your attention, check this stuff out and give me some feedback (or at least what you can tell from the myspace streaming) if you feel so inclined.

Hard to tell from myspace, but defintely not bad- except for the hideous hideous auto-tuning... sorry, but I absolutely can't stand that sound.

Not bad. A few things I could nit pick, but not bad. I would work on your vocal production though. Especially if you're trying to sound top 40. That small weak vocal sound really makes the whole recording sound less than what it could be.

The song Transmitted - I like what you did with the intro - don't know if it's allowed in this genre, but it could have been made into a really cool psychedelic thingamabob.

Next time a screamo band comes into the studio could you please just do us all a favor and shoot the singer?
