How would I go about hooking all these hardware to my pc I have a keyboard synth and a mpc but my problem is I have an audiophile sound card 1 in and 1 out can I use a mixer and plug a mixer to the input of the sound card and then plug the mpc to one channel of the mixer and the keyboard to into the other channel of the mixer would that work and plus can I add more hardware like a sound module? Please help me out

thanks

Punctuation would help. It makes for easier reading. I really can't even be bothered to figure out what you are asking, because it's too much work. Try again, with punctuation, and I'll see if I can help you.

Yeah, punctuation would be a good thing. I'll take a stab at it though...

1 in 1 out (it's actually 2 in, 2 out, because it's stereo)

To answer your question (I think), yes, you could use a mixer and there would be 2 ways you could do it:

1) "Pre-Mix" your keyboard and mpc with the mixer, and record in stereo

2) Record the keyboard on 1 track mono (left) and 1 track MPC mono (right) which would allow you to have a separate track for each to mix with (assuming you're using multi-track software).

If you are using multi track software, I'd record one thing at a time in stereo - takes a bit longer but gives you more flexibility.

Hmm, well, Its....I mean,,, try it and see!

You're not going to blow anything up!
If it wont work, it wont work, but it isn't going to hurt anything to try.
