Hi
most of you here are pretty experienced...

I was wondering, throughout your process of learning, have you come by any nice

1. videos
2. project files for cubase etc.
3. maybe even books (but ive heard of too many already)

that would show the process/ tutorials/ lessons on mixing and mastering...

Thanks!

alot of the guys would flame about dvd's and say that experience is the best teacher, but you can check out mix it like a record by charles dye. Heard alot of good things about it, and you can check out mix it like a record. Do not get the art of mixing dvd, really shitty does explain much, very repetitive

Production guide to mixing and mastering or something like that by waves is pretty nice. I have that and the author explains which plugin he uses on which channel and why and so on.

books and dvd

Well, I have The AudioPro Home Recording Course book by Bill Gibson, The Art Of Mixing by David Gibson and 100 Recording Tips & Tricks DVD's . . . .

Great amount of information and guidance in understanding sound placement and tuning. I must say my skill have improved alot and well worth the investments in these products. . . .
I didn't find anything crappy in these dvd's or books. . . But they are great learning tools. . . it's just how one reads and interpertates everything. . .

Besides, it's nice to see some of the same equipment in the video that I'm using, being used by the pro's also. . . . hehehehe ! ! ! :D
