AKG C414 XLII and Rode NT1-A. The AKG was bought used but is in amazing brand new condition with all the odds and ends (pop filter, windscreen, shock mount). I haven't done any test recordings with them yet but They are both loads better than my other mics.
I have a decent collection going now. I'd say that my next mic purchase will be a Shure SM7 after I get some of the Seventh Circle Pres.
Anybody have a good experience with assembling the Seventh Circle stuff? I'm kinda of apprehensive about it. But I know a fair amount about electronics.
