Some new bits and bytes

Got some rumbling going in the background. You need to get rid of that distraction. Otherwise, a great start to a big ballad. :)

vocals are way too loud on It Could Only Be You. Not that they are bad, just overbearing in volume relative to the background mix.

Thanks, I have had trouble getting my vocals to sit out front of the mixes, I guess I over did it a little on this one. I re-tracked it and put them down a little, sounds better to me right away. I don't know where that rumble is coming from...it seems to be on the vocal track (no sound booth :( ). I'll work on that.

Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment.

No thanks needed. Musicianship used to be screwing each other over to get to the top, but encouraging each other so there was still a top to get to....that was the era of big corporate recording labels. Now we support each other in this new online revolution. So I'm just doing what I love to do from one musician to the next, is all.

Put a noise gate on that track and play with it until the rumble goes away.

Barring that, try a high-pass filter. Be careful with both of these effects, however. They can color your sound in bad ways if you aren't careful with them.
