Hey, I dunno if anyone is interested, of if anyone has tried this before, but... I think it would be fun, and very good practice for some of us. We can take one of our projects, and save it to a bunch file on CD, and mail them off to each other... mix each others stuff, and then return it back in its "new" suit. For fun, practice, and maybe a different view. Let someone else take off with it in a completely different direction than you may have considered. You know, just leave it wide open, dont know what to expect when it comes back. You will, of course, have your original copy safe at home... I think this would be great fun, and an easy, low cost extension of our hobby. Hell Cd's are at 30 cents now if you buy 50, and you could prob mail them back and forth for $1 or $2 a pop, which is beans.
Anyone else think this would be cool? It'll be a few months before I'm ready, right now I cant even record at all, which sucks. But I'm down with it, big time.
Post away with your thoughts and ideas!
Peace,
Paul

it is a cool ideal, but have you check out the rocket network this is real cool but you need cubase or logic to download and upload and record with, cakewalk is suppose to be getting in on it , you can download a song and add your 2cents worth and upload it back to the studio you can have your own studio for 29.95 for three months and all can exchange ideal in real time its cool check it out.
