Some dope Soft Synths...

Hey everyone... I've got a few virtual instruments but there are literally seemingly SO many. So I'm wondering if anyone knows some good Soft Synths for hip-hop music?

Depends on what kinda sound your after actually...you wouldn't go all nuts with vanguard unless you want something synthy...try the high end ones. Mini Moog and those. Steer clear of the arp2600 unless you have to much sparetime or you're a direct decendent of the Moog family hehe or just really good with synthesis. If you're completly fresh at this there are tons of freebies to learn with. just pick up any producer mag and give them ago. Hip Hop doesn't require the most advanced synths to get somewhere. It's the brain behind them that needs to be focused and willing to create something fresh and new.

Thanks 92... Well feel like listing some of your favorites maybe? Or ones that you think are good? I've tried out XPhaze by Steinberg and that thing is kinda complicated but I'm starting to get the hang of it a little I think. But then again its expensive I thin,k so I don't know if I can afford it right now.

Anyhow...

Yeah if you or anyone could list some good soft synths and some good free ones as well.
