Its time to get a decent computer going for recording. However, all I really need is the ability to record in stereo at 96 sample rate. I use a PodXT Pro, so using the digital outputs (S/PDIF) is an option.
I dont know a lot about any of that, what kind of sound cards should I be looking at, and what would be a solid computer to run it?
This sounds amazingly nubile and stupid but Im a teen with not very much experience in computer gear. Ive been using an EMU-1212m soundcard for recording the past few years and Im reading to be able to record without any loss in quality and at a high sample rate (in stereo no less).
Can I get any advice here?
