Some advice about a Stoner / Desert Rock mixing practice

Hi everybody,

I try a new mix with an old record.
Mix realise with headphone for now, I'll control this week end with my monitor

I use UAD VST from my UAD-1 in REAPER



What do you think about it ?
 
It's very narrow image & the toms demonstrate this most particularly.
Sounds are fine just the stereo image.
 
Back off the bass, it's dominating all the candy. I know it is hard to explain but try a no bass round of listens. Then add bass.
 
Cool stoner song. The bass is covering a lot of the mix and the whole thing is too compressed and has no highs. Try to open up the mix so it is not so squashed and mono sounding. :D
 
I like the riff - does that make me a stoner?

I listened this WE on my monitor (first mix was made on headphone) and there is too much bass on this mix !

I am correcting this and I'll put it there soon.
