I know it's a long shot but I have a BASF cassette from 1980 that has a wrinkle in it and was wondering if there was anything I could do to smooth it out? The tape contains a band practice in my parents basement when I was in 10th grade and am about to convert to digital to send out to the guys that played on it. It was recorded on what the basic portable cassette players were back then. I'm playing it back on my old Fostex X-26. I don't want to play it to much for fear of it breaking. But would like to get the warble out if possible. If not, so be it. I thought I'd take a chance in here. So happens it occurs on the two best songs on the tape. Miss America by Styx and Cheap Tricks version of Ain't That A Shame. Lol!
