Solo Acoustic Recording

It's been awhile, but here is my latest attempt. It's a cover of a Richard Shindell song called "Che Guevara T-Shirt"
Just one mic, a Soundelux U97 going into a Great River MP2 straight into my Delta 44. I "mixed" it with N-Track, just adding a bit of reverb (Rennaisance Reverb) and compression (Renn. Compressor) and an L1 to keep it from clipping.

Guitar was a Larrivee OM03R in DADGAD tuning, capo 4.

hey gord, not a bad recording. i like the song, very folkish. i guess my main gripe would be the pitch of the vocals. you go out of pitch a ittle bit which throws me off. the sound of the guitar is pretty good though. Larrivee's are amazing guitars

Wow that was quick! Thanks for listening. I know my vocals aren't the best (one of many reasons why I never tried out for American Idol :p ), and I need to work on them. Glad you like the guitar sound!
